Vayigash: Being a Yehuda – Seeing the Good
If there was ever a cliff-hanger, it takes place at the end of last week’s Torah reading, Miketz and the beginning of this week’s Torah reading, Vayigash. Yehuda and his brothers are forced to return to Egypt to try and save their youngest brother, Binyamin, from a life of Egyptian servitude and being forever separated from his father Yaakov. The parsha opens with the well-know verse, Vayigash Elav Yehuda, “then Yehuda approached Yosef”. Upon hearing Yehuda’s words, Yosef is unable to restrain himself and bursts into tears…
