Universal and easy recipe that allows ingredient substitutions. Whatever ingredients you have in stock in your Pesach kitchen - you can master this simple and delicious recipe and make it yours!
The Key Ingredients:
- Cocoa powder - 1 cup
- Sugar - 0.5 cup
- Lemon Juice - 0.3 cup
- Vegetable Oil (Kosher for Pesach, we used Nut Oil) - 0.5 cup
- Eggs - 4
- Сoconut flakes - 0.5 cup
- Carrots, shredded - 1.5 cup
just mix and stir all the ingredients. If you don’t have a mixer in your Pesach kitchen, you don’t need it. Just use a fork. Stop mixing when the batter is well combined and looks like a homogenous mass.
If the mixture gets too sticky, add a bit more oil or lemon juice.
Bake for 10-15 minutes.
